Common Marketing Area

Through a cooperative agreement between the Victoria Real Estate Board and the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board, MLS® listings located in the land districts of Shawnigan, Helmcken and Malahat will automatically appear on the MLS® Systems of both boards. 

The VREB/VIREB Common Marketing Area is the portion of the VREB trading area comprised of three Land Districts: the Helmcken Land District (23); the Malahat Land District (29); and the Shawnigan Land District (53).
