The Commercial Division of the Victoria Real Estate Board was started in 1974 to promote commercial activity within the Board. It comprises a group of REALTORS® who are members of the Board and who are interested in exchanging ideas, sharing information and learning about the different aspects involved in the listing and selling of industrial, commercial and investment real estate.
The aims of the Commercial Division are:
- To encourage members to meet and to exchange ideas of mutual benefit;
- To sponsor seminars and to provide educational material for members;
- To promote the professionalism of REALTORS® specializing in commercial real estate;
- To promote commercial activity within Greater Victoria;
- To produce a marketing image for the Division;
- To provide networking opportunities with others in the real estate community;
- To promote excellence in building design and development in the Greater Victoria area through its annual Commercial Building Awards Competition.
