Promoting Green Values
The Issue
In an age of global warming and heightened environmental awareness, it is incumbent on all organizations and individuals to take whatever actions they can to minimize the impact of their activities on the environment.
VREB Position
The 2008 VREB President, Tony Joe, determined that "going green" will be the theme of his presidency. This initiative is in keeping with one of the Quality of Life principles adopted by the Board which is ‘preserving the environment’. Whenever possible, the Board will accordingly promote green values in all its business activities and as part of the real estate transaction.
